Amazing song by the christian group The Afters

I was watching a periscope broadcast last night from a sweet young lady that was saying goodbye to  her best friend. They both were sharing their life songs and one of the songs was this song by The Afters, ” Broken Hallelujah” I believe this was the first time I heard it even though it came out in 2013.

It is one song that really hit me right where I am in life right now. As many know. the year 2015 was not the best year for me and my family. But when I heard this song I was like oh my goodness. this song is about me.

We have to realize no what we are going through. no matter if we are on the mountain top or in the valley God will still except our broken hallelujah. If we are willing to give it to him. For those who don’t know hallelujah  is the highest praise we can give our heavenly father.

Because if we can praise him in our brokenness, in our “where is God” phase think about how much more we can praise him in our top of the mountain experience. Think of how much more pleasure he will get from our praise when we are on the top.

Just because the words ” Jesus ” ” God” and “prayer”

So i have a question for you readers. Just Because there are songs with the word ” Jesus” “God” and ” prayer ” in it does that make it a christian song and does that mean that the singer is a Christian ? I’m Talking about like Justin Bieber, Mc Hammer, Creed, and so many others. Are they Doing these songs to Capture the christian Audience or are they doing it for the money ? In my opinion it’s all about the money. I feel they think Hey if we had a “christian ” song we can get more sales. cause the parents will let the kids listen to them. that’s ?my opinion what do you think ?

My cd review of Kirk Franklin’s “Losing my Religion” Cd

If you are a a fan of Kirk Franklin’s work you will not be disappointed with this Cd. Kirk once again pulled off a great sounding and spiritual cd, ” Losing my Religion “. To be honest this could be one of his best. Not as good as his “Nu Nation” Cd but it ranks right up there with it.  A few of the songs that stood out to me on this cd are : “123 victory “, “Wanna be happy?” “True Story “, “when” .  Once again, if you are a fan of Kirk Franklin or not familiar with his work this is your opportunity to get to know him and where is heart truly is.

What christian song was your song of 2015?

As the hours now wind down, and 2015 comes to a end. I want you think, what christian song got me through this year? What song really stuck in my head to let me make it though 2015 ? it doesn’t have to be a song that came out this year, but it just ministered to you through the year and you couldn’t get it out of your head. It was a song that made you hum through out the year, or you would just busted out and sung it and it made your day. I hope and pray that 2016 will be a new year of more blessings and joy as you continue your walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. Happy New Year everyone.

Is chrisitan music getting to commercialized ?

Is christian music becoming to commercialized ? In the 70’s through the 90’s christian music focused on God, Jesus, Worship. but in the 2000’s I feel it’s more about popularity. about who can come out with the best song. who can feel a arena. A very high percentage of today’s christian artist  in my opinion are focused on the above mentioned comments. I really lost interest in contemporary christian music in the 2000’s because it all sounded the same and I felt a lot of the newer groups were and still are losing the focus of why and who they are singing about. They are more worried about filling  out auditoriums and venues and making money then saving lives. Am I against christian music ? no not at all. I would just like to see the singers and groups get back to the basics and instead of using their music to entertain, use it for ministering to the lost, broken , and to revive the body of Christ once again.

I know you are probably saying but southern gospel is for the older generation.  Well these 4 men make it enjoyable for all ages. They just don’t do this to entertain, they do it to minister to people also. They love God and they Love people.
